Allen&Heath 4 output analogue zone mixer

The GR05 is a 1U rack or desk mount audio zone mixer for installation applications. It has a flexible architecture which allows easy custom configuration by the installer to exactly suit the requirements of the installation. Once installed it presents a simple control interface for day-to-day operation by non-technical staff
The GR05 has 2 microphone inputs and 3 stereo line inputs. These can be assigned to 4 zone outputs configurable in mono or stereo pairs and controlled by front panel or remote level controls. Ducking, EQ and muting can be configured. Further inputs and outputs are possible using the expander system.
2 Microphone Inputs:
2 balanced XLR with rear panel gain trimmer. Internal jumpers provide: 30dB attenuator pad, +15V power and HPF @ 200Hz. Internal trimmers for 2 band EQ, HMF with sweep and LF shelving. Front panel level control to all routed outputs. 3 colour led meter.
3 Stereo Inputs:
Stereo RCA sockets. Internal jumpers for -10dBV/+4dBu level matching. Front panel level control and 3 colour led meter.
4 Outputs:
XLR. Internal trimmers for levels from -10dBV to +4dBu. 3 colour led meter. Output level controls may be disabled or grouped by internal links. HF and LF trimmers for shelving EQ. VCA control can be configured and outputs can be assigned to front panel controls or remote control operation. Zone muting can be assigned to front panel switch and indicator. Channels can be routed to the outputs direct or via the VCA control. Outputs are duplicated on the expander / remote connector.
Routing Matrix:
All inputs can be routed to any combination of outputs direct or via the VCA control. Direct path is not affected by output level controls and ducking. Selection is done by internal jumper links
Remote Control:
VCA path remote control can be configured by the installer. Expander / remote 25-pin D-type female connector includes remote DC input for each of the 4 outputs.
Ducking:
Internal or external configuration. Depth and release time can be assigned. Muting possible. Uses VCA control for output ducking. Opto-isolated input for external trigger and 4 additional direct / VCA buss inputs provided on expander / remote connector. Alarm interface possible. Status indicator provided.
Expander / Remote:
Additional mic & line inputs can be provided via another ‘slave’ GR05 using the 25-pin D-type female connector.
Lock Out System:
Input controls are always active; output levels controls may be disabled. All level controls may be set in 3 ways: 1) Knob fitted for operator control 2) knob removed for screwdriver preset 3) hole plugs (provided) fitted to lock out control.
PSU:
Internal mains voltage PSU. DC backup input is provided. Status indicator.
