Switching Amplifier
1RU IR & RS485 controllable.

The front panel has been kept very simple with a stylish black brushed metal finish will be equally at home next to your Crestron controllers or used as a standalone front end. You have source selection buttons with LED indication for any of 8 AV sources as well as master volume control via alpha wheel with LED level indicators around the periphery; you also have a power LED & Comms LED on the front panel.
The rear panel is where we get down to the nitty gritty...

The 8 AV inputs are divided into 2 DVD ins with composite video & stereo audio, 2 PC ins with VGA video & stereo audio & 4 Aux ins 2 with composite video & Stereo audio, 2 with VGA video & stereo audio.
There is also a stereo RCA mix input which can be used for integrating mics into the system via an MX82 or MX883 (this can also be used as an emergency override input in conjunction with contact closure points available on the euro block input – L1 it is labelled).
We have 2 composite RCA video outputs & a VGA video output. We also have stereo RCA line level audio outputs as well as speaker outputs from the on board 80 watt per channel power amp. So a very comprehensive AV switching front end with line level audio outputs, speaker outs, Composite & VGA video outputs.
The IN400 also ships with IR remote control which gives you control over source selection, level, input EQ & on/off. The IN400 also has RS485 control available which again will do all of the above plus allow for video away from audio split, a very handy feature for AV installations & also front panel lock to make this installation client proof

AMAV IN600 AV
system controller
IN600 is aimed at higher level AV installations where full AV system, screen control & projector management are required. As mentioned the IN600 can perform all these tasks.
The front panel of the IN600 is again in basic black & gives you a 4 input mic line mixer with recessed 15db +/- gain trim status & select (to show if the channel is selected - i.e. not muted) & status LED, a mic/line master volume with surrounding LED indicators to show the mix master level. Power & Comms LEDs are on the front panel (the Logo lights up when on which is a nice touch) Type B USB input for PC connection (the IN600 will ship with set up software – more on this later) AV source master volume with surrounding LED indication, projector “on” switch which will also trigger the screen up/down relay with LED indication & source select & “off” with LED indication

The IN600 rear panel gives us 4 AMS standard inputs with XLR switchable between mic & line level & stereo RCA line level inputs. 15VDC phantom power is available for each input. Your source AV inputs are 2 Aux ins with composite video & stereo audio, 2 PC inputs with VGA video & stereo audio & 2 DVD inputs which can be either composite or VGA video in & 5.1 audio inputs. Note that there is no 5.1 decoder on board the IN600 it relies on the DVD player in question to provide decoded outputs (this is a standard feature these days & is available all the way down to $59 DVD players – we went this rout as the licensing fees for 5.1 audio proved incredibly prohibitive). You have dip switches to send your mic/line inputs to centre, left or right channel outputs (any combination of) & there is also an internal jumper to send these inputs to rear surrounds as well. You also have dip switches to send the stereo source audio inputs to centre & sub outs & switching for DVD1 & 2 between VGA or composite video inputs.
You have 2 composite video outs & a VGA video out. There is a Euroblock connector with RS485 control in & screen up/down relay out. There is also a 9 pin connector for projector control. You have 6 balanced XLR outputs set up as Left, Right, Centre, Surround Left, Surround Right & Sub Out which has a low pass filter set at 120Hz.
Internal adjustments are (as mentioned) jumpers to assign the mic/line mix to rear left or rear right or the sub out. You also have a Hi pass filter set at 150Hz for each of the mic/line ins to eliminate lectern rumble etc. There are also jumpers to assign the stereo source audio inputs to the rear surround channels.
As mentioned the IN600 will ship with a software CD which is compatible with windows XP & better. The software allows for full set up of the IN600 parameters, naming of inputs, saving of job configuration files, set up of projector control (input select, power on/off) power up state, connect to & download status of machine, all via standard windows drop down menus.
