Mipro MA202 compact sound solution

Small compact and only 4.1kg, the Mipro portable MA202 PA system is designed to be used with the ACT202T hand held wireless cordless microphone, when not in use you just slots it into the integrated charger/storage compartment on the back. The cordless transmitter can be hand-held or used around the neck. This portable system uses a Lithium Polymer rechargeable battery and operates for up to 24 hours between charges. To charge up the microphone, just slide it into the storage compartment of the back of the MA202. The transmitter also includes a slide volume control allowing users to adjust the volume output of the system from the microphone

Wireless mic options you can choose from:

Hand-held Wireless ACT707HE Mic: The hand-held wireless microphone is basically the industry standard all-rounder. It sounds great when used properly and is quite convenient to pass around from one person to another.  However, do not position it under the chin or away from the mouth – that will diminish the clarity of the audio output.

Head-set Wireless ACT707TE/MU55HNS Mic: You can bank upon your headset microphone for speech continuity. No matter where you turn your head, the mic will follow, keeping the volume constant. However, the only downside to this is it will not be easy to pass the headset microphone around in a gathering.
 

Speaker stand for elevation

With all the Mipro portable PA system we strongly recommend you utilize the optional ATC303 speaker stand, this will give you a greater coverage of sound throughout the listening area, the ATC303 speaker stand also allows you to point the speaker in the correct direction. Handy Tips: Setting up Portable PA Systems

Choosing a high performance portable audio system may not be an easy task. However, it is not rocket science either, if you let us guide you. A few vital tips on setting up portable public address systems to receive the best audio output are listed below:

• If your audio output quality is being spoilt by wind noise, using a wind-sock and turning the Bass down will help to cut out the noise.
• Work on your microphone technique. Test the microphone levels before your guests arrive.  Stand at the farthest end of the premises and listen carefully to get a feel of what is being said during the sound check.
• Make sure that you have a stand for the PA speaker. It is extremely important to elevate and place the speaker at an appropriate position to maximize its coverage and minimise feedback.
• Always have spare batteries for the microphone
• Charge your portable system the day before your function.
• Test the internal batteries every now and then by fully charging the system and then run a music program, taking note of the time you started and finished. New systems should last approximately 8 hours on a full charge. However, this might differ depending upon the program you are running.
• Do not place the microphone directly in front of the portable loudspeaker.
  
• Do not install the PA speaker too far from the person speaking.
• Do not forget to recharge the PA system after each use and never, ever, leave the batteries discharged for any extended period of time.
